Misa Peach Passion and CND Crimson Sparkle

This is another one I picked up at the Misa sale. This is an orange leaning bright peach creme. The formula was pretty typical for these kinds of colours. It was a bit thick. I used 3 coats for these pictures. It was a bit streaky, but I blame that more on my application. I think the best way to apply this is with thicker, even coats that are allowed to dry a bit in between. That being said, I am not unimpressed with how it looks with 3 quick coats. It doesn't level very well, like a lot of similar polishes I have found, and so if your final coats do not completely cover your last ones you will end up with obvious layers around the edges. You may be able to see this in my pics.

Because I cannot leave anything alone I added a coat of CND Crimson Sparkle. I am beyond disappointed that CND decided to discontinue their line of Effects. I hope they bring them back in the Vinylux formula. I found this difficult to photograph. In actuality, it is a really prominent pretty pink shimmer that changes to gold as you shift your hands around closer to the light source.

Essie Sable Collar and Winmax #6

This baby was a gift from my lovely bff. Much love lady! I was drawn to its Peel me a Gobi Grape vibe.

This is 2 coats. Application was smooth and fabulous.

I then added 2 coats of Winmax #6 which is a wicked cheap shimmer sold at Daiso for $2.

I had a hard time capturing the shimmery goodness.

Okay this one is blurry as fack, but it shows the shimmer a bit better.

Misa High Brow & Sweet Color Flakie #4

This is another one that starts off with a satin finish. I feel like my indoor lighting does it no justice. This polish needs sunshine. That being said.. LOVE.

This is 2 coats no topcoat

I decided to top this one off with a new flakie I received today. This is 2 coats of Sweet Color #4.

Misa Eye Candy

I have been ill. I am currently having the demons purged from my being. *kisses container of antibiotics*

I got a few Misas when they were having their December sale. Eye Candy is from the Blink of an Eye Fall 2013 collection. I bought it based on the bottle shot on the site, and I was very pleased with what I received. This is actually a matte/satin finish polish, but not your basic boring matte. This is a fantastic and complex matte polish.

This is 3 coats, but you could get away with 2 for sure.

I also got High Brow from the Blink of an Eye collection, and it seems to have the same finish. I will be swatching this one next. Misa can be purchased on the Misa site for $7.50 each. When they had their sale, I was happy to find that they allowed their free shipping to Canadians as well which has made me much more eager to buy from them in the future, providing it wasn't some technical glitch. Who wants to pay shipping these days? Not I!
